Mukta in London
Description
Ever since my first visit to London Mandir I've felt a subtle connection to it — one that only deepened in 2023, when I was there in Swami's presence. Seeing Ghanshyam Maharaj's murti, meeting so many of the mahamukto, the stories told through "The First of It's Kind" docuseries: it all solidified that connection. So this design goes back to the very beginning — before it was the mandir that stops you in your tracks on Pramukh Swami Road. The title block, the elevation with its shikhars and dhajas, every wall drawn before a single stone was carved. Neasden was the first traditional Hindu stone mandir in Europe, and for me this print is a quiet thank-you to everyone who turned that drawing into something you could walk inside. For the ones who know the building by heart, and the faith it took to raise it.
